What Next?
If you have made the decision that you would like some help with addressing your anxiety, or you’re feeling unsure about whether therapy could be helpful and you would like the chance to ask some questions and explore different options, the first step is to book a free consultation call.

You can contact me via my contact form, call me on 023 8254 4417, text me on 07340 267 041, or email me at katherinecrawfordtherapy@gmail.com.

This initial appointment usually takes place over the phone and generally lasts around 20 minutes. We will talk a little about what is going on for you and what might be helpful. If we decide CBT is not the right fit for you, I can advise you of alternative options. The call also gives you a chance to find out a bit more about me and how I work, because most of the time finding the right person is probably more important than the type of therapy being offered.

If you decide you would like to book in another appointment with me following our initial call, this can be arranged to take place either in person, via video or via the telephone. Sessions are charged at £70 for 50-60 minutes.
When we start work together, we can discuss how many appointments may be needed, dependant on what the problem is, how long it has been a problem, whether you’ve done any therapy before etc. One of the things I really like about CBT is that you can decide how much depth you want to go into with your difficulties. I have trained and worked as Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (PWP), offering “low intensity” CBT, so if you wanted a brief piece of work (4-6 sessions) I am happy to offer that. If we decide some more intensive, or longer term, work would be helpful, this might mean we have 15 – 20 sessions together.
If you haven’t been to therapy before, the thought of getting started might be a little daunting. If you have any questions or concerns I haven’t covered here, please get in touch.
